IS THE COFFEE EXTRACTION POURING TOO FAST?
A finer grind is required. Rotate the adjustment knob clockwise ONE line (NOT one number). Each notch adjustment will slow your pour down by two-three seconds. Only ever adjust a maximum of one line at a time.
IS THE COFFEE EXTRACTION POURING TOO SLOW?
A coarser grind is required. Rotate the adjustment knob anti-clockwise ONE line.
NB. After every grind adjustment, discard the equivalent of two baskets of coffee to clear all pre-ground coffee.
After the grind size has been adjusted
You need to check to see if the dose has been affected. Making the grind finer can decrease the dose, & making the grind coarser can increase your dose.
After tamping, the coffee should sit flush with the groove in the basket.
TOO MUCH IN THE BASKET?
You need the grinder to grind for less time. Simply push the left arrow to reduce the time by 0.10 seconds. The recommended change sequence is always 0.10 seconds e.g. 7.20, 7.10, 7.00 etc.
Once the time has been adjusted, you are not required to press anything else.
TOO LITTLE IN THE BASKET?
You need the grinder to grind for more time. Simply push the right arrow to increase the time by 0.10 seconds. The recommended change sequence is always 0.10 seconds e.g. 7.00, 7.10, 7.20 etc.
Once the time has been adjusted, you are not required to press anything else.
NB. It is recommended to only adjust the time one 0.10 increment at a time.
