Electronic Robur S Grinder
IS THE COFFEE EXTRACTION POURING TOO FAST?
A finer grind is required. Rotate the adjustment collar anti-clockwise ONE notch (a notch is the line on the exterior side of the collar, not the numbers on the top). Each notch adjustment will slow your pour down by two – three seconds. Only ever adjust a maximum of one notch at a time.
IS THE COFFEE EXTRACTION POURING TOO SLOW?
A coarser grind is required. Rotate the adjustment collar clockwise one notch.
After the grind size has been adjusted, you need to check to see if the dose has been affected. Making the grind finer can decrease the dose, & making the grind coarser can increase your dose. After tamping, the coffee should sit flush with the groove in the basket.
NB. Please do not use the tamp, or anything other than your hand to adjust the collar. After every grind adjustment, discard the equivalent of two baskets of coffee to clear all pre-ground coffee.
TOO MUCH IN THE BASKET?
You need the grinder to grind for less time. Press the menu button & immediately select the double shot button (2) to change. Please do not attempt to access any features in the menu.
Once you have selected (2), use the minus button ( - ) to reduce the time. Adjust the time in increments of 0.10 seconds e.g. 4.30, 4.20, 4.10 & so on. Once the time has been adjusted, select (2) again & you will see the cup on the screen go green.
The change is now complete. You are not required to waste coffee after dose adjustments.
